Kicking Off the 2026 Legislative Session Under the Gold Dome

·Beth Camp

The 2026 legislative session is officially underway, and I am back under the Gold Dome ready to fight for the families, farmers, and small business owners of House District 135. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as your voice in Atlanta, and I do not take that responsibility lightly.

This session my agenda is focused on four core priorities: expanding economic opportunity in our district, protecting parental rights in education, supporting our agricultural community, and ensuring our law enforcement and first responders have the resources they need.

On the economic front, I will be pushing hard for additional rural broadband funding, targeted tax relief for small businesses, and regulatory reforms that make it easier to start and grow a business in Georgia. Our district has tremendous economic potential, and I want to make sure state policy is helping us realize it — not holding us back.

In education, I will continue my work on parental transparency and school choice. Every Georgia family deserves access to a quality education, and every Georgia parent deserves a seat at the table when decisions are made about their child's learning.

I will also be working on legislation to support our farmers and protect Georgia's agricultural heritage. Our farming families are the backbone of this district, and they deserve a government that is working for them.

I am grateful for your continued trust and support. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions, concerns, or ideas you would like me to carry to Atlanta. This is your government, and I am your representative.
